Stop promising teachers of better days ahead, as an excuse for paying them less than they worth now. Only few of them will wait for your ‘better’ days ahead. This excuse is the cheapest way to lose your honour as a school owner and you may end up losing the commensurate returns on the real commercial value of whatever edifice you have struggled to build as a school.

Teachers make or break the school. The choice is yours. Treat them well and you’re made. Neglect their feelings, and you struggle, short pay them and you’ll gradually build a negative image for yourself. School business is image business. If you lose your good image, you may soon lose the school.
Point Of Correction – Not every teacher is racing to start a school. So, don’t think, they will soon know how the shoe pinches. But truth be told, if you can’t guarantee teachers 12 months pay, you consider two options – Trim down staff size, or consider some other business apart from school.
